Inclement Weather Worship

snowIt's that time of year again...... The winter months are upon us. Unfortunately snow storms do happen on Saturday night into Sunday morning which may cause you to question whether or not Calvary is having worship services on Sunday morning. To all of our members and friends have no fear, no matter what the weather is outside there will be a worship service going on in the Calvary Baptist Church of North Jersey at Garfield.

"Where two or three are gathered in HIS name", there will be a WORSHIP service going on........ "When Praises go up, Blessings come down".......................

The Theatrical Story of "Joseph" Trip
josephThe Calvary Baptist Church of North Jersey at Garfield Women's Ministry is sponsoring an excursion
to the Sight and Sound Theatre, Lancaster, PA, to see the theatrical story of "Joseph"

Wednesday, March 24, 2010
(Bus will leave Calvary Baptist Church at 7:30am arriving around 10:30am)

11:00 am - All you can eat Smorgasbord at Willow Valley Restaurant with time for shopping at the bakery
and gift shops.
12:30 pm - Arrival at Sight and Sound Theatre
3:30 pm - Departure to Farmers Market (provided market is open)
5:00 pm - Departure to Calvary Baptist Church, Garfield, NJ

The total cost of the trip is $102.00. A deposit of $52.00 is required ASAP;
full balance must be paid by 02/20/10.

Birthday Celebration For Pastor Calvin McKinney

Hour of Preparation
Leaders,members and friends come join us every Saturday evening for an hour of spirit filled prayers, songs, scripture readings and thanksgiving for what God has done, is doing and what He will do. We pause for one hour to pray for our Pastor, the Calvary Baptist Church, for our church family and for blessings upon our Sunday morning services. If you cannot be with us, please pause for a moment wherever you are and lift a prayer to almighty God on our behalf. What a small sacrifice to make.............Let us not forget who made the ULTIMATE sacrifice for us all.......

Bring A Friend Sunday

bringafriendEvery 2nd Sunday of each month is "Bring A Friend Sunday" at Calvary. We at Calvary are striving to become a "Contagiouis Congregation". We ask our members to invite a friend, guest or family member that does not currently have a church home, to come worship with us and celebrate the goodness of the Lord !!!!! We prepare a welcome breakfast for our guests, which is served after our first morning worship service. As we break bread together we hope this gives our guests the opportunity to get to know who we are and who we are serving.

Saturday Church School

saturdayschoolOur Saturday Church School is held every Saturday morning for children ages 4-12

Time: 9 am- 12 noon

Van service is available by calling the church office by Friday afternoon
