Our First Lady's Biography

Brendalyn L. (White) McKinney was born the fifth of seven children to James Edward and Callie Mae (Knox) White in Birmingham, AL.

The loving and supportive wife of Pastor Calvin McKinney, Brendalyn has given tireless and effective servant leadership in many capacities as our First Lady. As an instructor in new Disciple Orientation, advisor to both the Women's Ministry and to the Ushers, and as a member of the Stewards of the Ordinances (formerly the Deaconess), she has given of herself unselfishly.

She recently retired after 28 years as an Executive Secretary with ITT Industries, Clifton, New Jersey, and now serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. Brendalyn is also a member of the Agape Ministers' Wives & Ministers' Widows Fellowship, where she served as president from 1999-2003. This local organization is affiliated with the New Jersey Association Ministers' Wives & Ministers Widows (Interdenominational) and the International Association Ministers' Wives & Ministers' Widows, Inc. Brendalyn is a life membership in both of these organizations. She currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the HERALD, an international publication of the IAMWMW, Inc., and as chairperson of the Life Membership Committee for the NJAMWMW, Inc.

Brendalyn, along with the membership of the Calvary Baptist Church of North Jersey at Garfield, continues being "Taught and Grown" as we pursue fulfilling our mission.
